About Us
The Corner Hotel is situated in the centre of Carnoustie and only 5 minutes from the Links Golf Course and stunning beach which has just had a major clean up and also a cycling path which takes you to Arbroath. Also walking distance to other Golf Courses in the area.
The Corner hotel in Carnoustie is also a short distance to the Local Leisure Centre, Shops and Pubs which are ideally situated to cater for all tastes.
Carnoustie is on the East Coast of Scotland, just about 25 miles from St.Andrews and within a 90 minutes drive of 3 International Airports; Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Glasgow. Dundee Airport is just a 30 minites drive from the hotel and the train station is 10 minutes from the hotel.
You also have the choice of Dundee City Centre or further afield there is Perth, with its popular farmers, market and designers shopping centres. Perth is either 30 minutes traon journey or 45 minutes driving.
The hotel itself is welcoming, friendly and the locals also make you feel very welcome.
The public bar has a good selection of Malts and Wines.
In the 2007 Carnoustie Golf Open Championship, the BBC Television put their guests and coleagues including the Irish Tourist Board into our hotel and we got great reviews on how they were looked after, the bedrooms and of course the outstanding food.
The restaurant is also very popular with visitors and locals, all the food is cooked to order (not frozen) including breakfast and the produce is bought locally. The fish is supplied by M&M Fish Supplier who are situated in Arbroath and they deliver the fish fresh in the morning.
Please take a look at our menu and if there is nothing there that you fancy 'Carol' will prepare you something with a difference. We can also organise fresh Mussels, Crabs and Lobsters. We also do specials at the weekends. Our restaurant can accommodate larger groups of up to 35 people. We can also cater for small weddings and functions.
We also cater for vegetarians with some of Carols delicious dishes.
The Corner Hotel Restaurant also provide a local delivery service. Do you fancy a night without cooking? The food is delivered freshly cooked and piping hot.
